Mileage and oil usage report

Thought it would be interesting to see oil mileage and oil usage from other members.

I am at 117k and zero oil usage between 5k mile oil changes. I am using Mobil 1 oil high mileage synthetic and filter.

2007 with ~125K miles. I do oil every 5,000 miles and typically come up with 1/2 quart less than I put in.

Re: Mileage and oil usage report

I had 203,000 miles on my '07 when I traded it 3 years ago and had the oil changed every 5000 miles with dino oil and no oil usage.

I feel like I’ve been rode hard and hung up wet
Swallowed by a mule and crapped off a cliff
I drank enough whiskey to fill up a lake
Woke up this morning with a big ass headache.....Justin Moore

Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens...

I'll ride in on a sunny day, Sing you a song, steal your heart away Like a cowboy Hang my hat like I'm here for awhile Kick off my boots and drive you wild Like a cowboy Well baby you know I can't stay long You wake up, I'll be gone Until then I'll hold on Like a cowboy.

Could be soaked up in the oil filter.

Re: Mileage and oil usage report

I just recorded 19.5 mpg on regular unleaded. Heavy Demelo bumpers, winch, 17 inch Nitro Dune Grapplers. Interstate speeds (in NM speed limits are 75) and a slight wind, 15 mpg. Oil use, negative. I use regular oil, change at 3000 miles.
2010 with 116,000 miles.

MIne's almost identical -- Mobil 1 synthetic every 5,000. No oil usage at 110,000 miles to date.

Re: Mileage and oil usage report

'13 FJ (auto, 4x4), bought new and now has 91k miles. Oil changes every 5k miles using OEM Toyota filters and Geniune Toyota 0W-20 synthetic oil. I've never had to add oil in between oil changes nor have I ever seen any significant change in oil level on the dipstick.
