Just wondering what fuel my fellow Canadians are using? I personally use 87 or 89 from Husky/Mohawk but was curious as to what others have had better success with. I average (in winter) just over 400 kms/tank - 5 spd auto. I'm looking forward to Summer when I can hit that 500+ mark with the FJ. I'm also headed for the slopes in a week so i'll be able to track a highway only trip and see what numbers i'm going to get. I'm at 400+- with 50/50 city/highway.

Re: Canucks!! What brand of fuel are you using?
I use 91 octane from Esso and usually get 300-350kms per tank with my 6MT with 90% city driving. The best I have done is 450km on the highway with the cruise set at just over 90kms/hr.

Hey Mikey, I just filled up today at Shell. We'll see how she does - though I only used 87. I may have to try some good stuff. Damn i'm just too cheap sometimes.

I get Chevron 89 Octane.
I have tried many different brands of fuel (shell, petro canada, superstore etc.) and it seems that the FJ likes Chevron out of all of them.
The thing I DO like about Chevrons (and other big chains) is that they are EVERYWHERE. If I need to get gas in some small town, I can most likely find a Chevron. That means that I can keep the quality/mixture(with additives etc.) the same.
No idea if it makes a difference or not, just what I do. Haha.
PS. Where's Chevron on the poll? Or is it a different name in AB?
Sunoco when possible but selected Petro Can off this list because that is my second. I love the 94 at Sunoco.
