Trailers

So who has been looking at trailers?

I am talking about the small military ones like the m416 and M101, M105 and the other of the same size, from 1/4 to 1 1/2 ton.

I was thinking a roof top tent would be cool on top.

They look like they would be great little trailers for off road. Just wondering what everyone else thinks and if anyone has pulled a off road trailer on the trail??

Or if anyone has custom build something that would be cool to..

Some type of trailer is on my very long list of 'wishes'. Part of me wants to go the DIY route & build up a 416, part of me wants to shell out the $4k+ for a ready built trailer. We'll have to see how the lotto goes

I would like to have one of the small military trailers with a roof top tent mounted on it. Look forward to seeing what people have. chris

Re: Trailers

I have a small pop-up tent trailer that I pull behind my FJ. If I were to buy today, I'd take a hard look at the jumping jack trailer.

It's pretty basic, but very rugged.

Re: Trailers

I use a Tentrax. Definitiely not DIY, and not the cheapest solution, but if anyone would like to talk about it, I'm happy to offer my thoughts.
