M-332 Ammo Trailer
Saw a couple of these at a surplus store in Trenton, TN for $350 + Tax.
Was thinking you could possibly turn one into a camper/trail/pop-up trailer or something like that. They are heavy duty but weigh a ton unless you do some gutting out.

Re: M-332 Ammo Trailer
Maybe the M-416 might work better. Looks smaller and alot lighter.

Re: M-332 Ammo Trailer
If anyone else is crazy like me here is a good site to get old military trailers:
Government Surplus Auctions at Government Liquidation
From what I saw the following would be good candidates also:
M116
M101A1

Re: M-332 Ammo Trailer
I like the M416. The Bantam is also very nice. Anything else is just a bit too heavy.

Re: M-332 Ammo Trailer
That price is really attractive. What was the name of the surplus store? I might have to drop by. How heavy would you say it is?

2500 lbs as it sits. Its a 1 1/2 ton trailer.
The M116 (1100lbs) & M101A1 (1350lbs) are 3/4 ton trailers. Look like better options and there are quite a few on the website I listed. I have the info on the surplus store at my office if your still interested. I can get it to you in the am.

Re: M-332 Ammo Trailer
Thanks, that would be great. That is pretty dang beefy. I guess you would use a pintle hook to trailer that? Wonder what size it should be.
