Side Rails - Opinions Please

I'm new here and really need some opinions on side rails. I found the followoing side rails from Stallion Customs on FJCruiseAccessory .com

FJ Cruiser Black Side Bars 3" Round
MSRP: $299.99 SALE PRICE: $199.99
(i can't post the url...sorry)

I really like the look and they are VERY in expensive compared to many others. However, like many things in life, "if its too good to be true-- it probably is.."
So, my question: are they good?
Has anyone bought these?
What should I look out for?

Oreo, why would you post this in a vendors page? Thats not very nice, and considered bad manners. You should post it in the general section, or maybe exterior section

Shawn, he's new (6 posts). Give him a break and provide your opinion. I prefer the ARB sliders for around $350.

Re: Side Rails - Opinions Please

Well, I'll recommend the Expedition One sliders.
They are possibly the best design available at this time, in my opinion. They stick out far enough to protect the door panels both off road and in the parking lots. They tuck up nicely toward the body, maximizing ground clearance and they have a nice flare at the back for added protection (like the all pro sliders).
They differ from the all pro's in that they have a twin step configuration which will keep my wife happy. The step detail has a hexagonal pattern which matches nicely with the all weather floor mats. They also come already powder coated which, last I checked, the all pro's do not.

Top notch equipment.

I'll second the Expedition One sliders. I checked them out at an off-road expo about a month ago and they are suh-weet!

Re: Side Rails - Opinions Please

I will definitely recommend the E-One sliders for all the reasons above. Just get the wrinkle finish as it is very slip resistant even in the weather. Don't have pics but if needed I can take some and post 'em.

Re: Side Rails - Opinions Please

Post Pics Plz......my kids have a hard time getting in the back seat with the stock sliders. Sounds like they could use these to get in easier?

Re: Side Rails - Opinions Please

I also went with the Expedition One sliders. They are rock solid and serve a dual purpose with the step. I added some grip tape to the steps and like them even more.

The grip tape template link is below, enjoy.
