This bumper/swing out is very good looking but the lack of built in dual jerry cans is a real turn off for me.
What nonsense are you spouting? If you look at the original pics clearly there are Jerry cans incorporated. Maybe not the walmart jerry cans you like, but EX1 jerry cans none the less which are far superior in any way. No rust, no seizing lids, and about a third of the weight not to mention no metal on metal rubbing.

A. I have two wedco steel jerry cans, not blitz crap at walmart.

B. Your right. Why didn't i think of just throwing away my $50, perfectly good cans to buy some expedition one cans? (part of the reason a third of the weight, it holds less gas. Not something i consider a good trade off, and when both are full of gas, a third of the weight is going to be something like 40lbs vs 37lbs, not an issue to me )

The fact of the matter is this, a LOT of people have the jerry can style gas/water cans. I have two and a scepter water can. The other two main companies with rear bumper/swing outs both can carry two cans. That is part of the main reason i want to buy a swing out/bumper, to get the gas cans (aka weight) off the roof.

I love the lines of this bumper and the price is better than the others.

Exp1, could the hinge support the weight of a can mounted on each side of the tire? If so, could this be added to a bumper that i purchase?

Nice.
No lights. Keep it rugged/clean looking.
Also, I'd really prefer not to have to move the rear tag/light.

So are they taking orders or what?

Are you getting a final copy or a scrap version to test?
