Re: Expedition One rear bumper: Integrated lights, or No Integrated lights

James does it again

..I like it just the way it is..just like my front bumper..

and the lights are perfect. I've been trying to think of a way to mount rear facing rack lights around my hi-lift..but this looks like the answer. I can't see anything when I back up and this is perfect.

I've been waiting for your rear bumper, and now I'm glad I did.

Do you have a rendering with the optional jerry can and tire carrier mount?

I'll see if I can get some preliminary worked up before the week end. The big issue we're running into with the design is the licence plate. We want to be able to keep its stock position but at present we're having a bit of trouble designing anything that works well and keeps it in the stock position....

Don't sweat the plate location. It can go anywhere in my opinion - put it on a jerry can holder

Re: Expedition One rear bumper: Integrated lights, or No Integrated lights

I like it without the lights but that's only because I've got the Gobi Stealth where I'll be putting some PIAA 1500 Back Up lights that I've already bought.

Also, will you offer a hitch to go with this bumper or should I just get the OEM version when I buy the rear bumper?

The plate is easy, but the light has to be moved too. That's not as easy as moving the plate.

The OEM hitch works with this bumper.

Re: Expedition One rear bumper: Integrated lights, or No Integrated lights

I would enjoy lights, as long as they're protected, but I would really like to maintain the park assist beepy thingy. I'd buy one with or without lights.

Ya. The little light that shines on the license plate. I do believe the plate has to be readable, even at night. So, moving the plate isn't a big deal, but there is a little more work involved for the light.

Re: Expedition One rear bumper: Integrated lights, or No Integrated lights

How about make the carrier removable. Keep the stock lic pate where it is. When not using the carrier the stock lic position performs it function. When using the carrier put a secondary lic plate location with battery powered led light so no wiring need.

I really like this bumper the best. I dont really need a tire carrier but like to have the Jerry can hi-lift carrier in the back
