Re: Expedition One rear bumper: Integrated lights, or No Integrated lights

This bumper looks great, lights or no lights. I prefer lights, but I'll be buying one either way.

The plate is easy, but the light has to be moved too. That's not as easy as moving the plate.
Now that's attention to detail: relocating the light along with the plate. I personally wouldn't worry about it on my own vehicle. But this is another example of how James goes above and beyond with his design.

I'll see if I can get some preliminary worked up before the week end. The big issue we're running into with the design is the licence plate. We want to be able to keep its stock position but at present we're having a bit of trouble designing anything that works well and keeps it in the stock position....
Who needs a license plate? Thanks Man, looking forward to another piece of art from you guys.

Ya. The little light that shines on the license plate. I do believe the plate has to be readable, even at night. So, moving the plate isn't a big deal, but there is a little more work involved for the light.

K
Totally forgot license plates had lights... good point

Re: Expedition One rear bumper: Integrated lights, or No Integrated lights

I must have missed this thread when it was started. But I vote for the lights. Think I am going to have to get your front and rear bumpers now. Hopefully I can get it by our next (Midwest "TOGA") tech day. Damn money tree would be great right now.

Re: Expedition One rear bumper: Integrated lights, or No Integrated lights

James,

A couple other things that would be nice are an anti-slip step tread like the ARB

Inclusion of the OEM rear reflectors

Like the Kaymar
