We've made a bunch of adjustments to the internal structure and have finally figured out a way that requires no drilling....

Not quite, but we only junked 6 bumpers until we had a working one on our last run.
We're also going to add a swinging tire carrier option, but it may take a month or 2 longer to get than the standard tire carrier option....
