Very nice, I have been looking for something like this for months! I'll be interested to see how the spare tire mount works out, but I will probably be putting a pair of these up on the roof rack.

Will these be CARB? Btw, I really like the thin design.
they will be CARB compliant but not until next year. The EPA is suposed to adopt CARB rules, so we're already in process of getting our tanks ready for that. There really isn't much we have to do except change the spout and remove the vent hole. There may be a 3rd process that enters into play with having to put a special coating on the tank, but that will depend on the permiability of the tank. With how thick we make our tanks right now we think we've got a good chance of avoiding that step....
I like this.
I could use the gasoline one for the rear tire.
My tire and wheel is aftermarket, hopefully it will fit?

EXP1: love the rear bumper in the pic. I am guessing it is the EXP1 bumber
I use a hose/bulb setup to extract the fuel from my aux tank to my main tank. It works easy, quickly and safely. No need to dismount the aux tank but it has its flaws in that dipping any hose into the aux tank can contaminate the fuel and then you have to deal with the smell later in the cabin. If you leave it outside on the rack then the dirt will contaminate the hose. It would be great if a hose/filler cap attachment that is similar in design could be constructed so it can remain in the aux tank even when not in use. Just an idea and might be another project that could be sold separately.

Would it leak like a sieve like all other CARB compliant cans?
Ha, Ha! Isn't that just the ridiculous irony of CARB cans? The plan was to prevent 11millon gallons of lost fuel per year by making companies have spill proof containers and spouts. Instead now we have gas cans that spill every time we poor. But I guess the real irony is that they still believe there concept worked.
Anyway, We hope to make sure we have cans that do not leak a bit. What we'll actually do is have a cap and a separate spout that has an auto shut off. We'll either be designing our own or use one from Wedco, or Scepter most likely...
That spout was for the metal can, but it might work with yours?
My rig is going to be so full of camping gear when I take my vacation this summer that I do not want to put the Wedco can inside, nor will I have room.

I really like this idea you are going with.
The thread pattern is a bit different, but thats the beuty of our manufacturing method, we can switch to a different spout thread with only a few minor modifications. We'll either be using one of those spouts or one like this:
