Expedition One Customer Accidental Front Bumper Crash

The Accident happened to a bumper that had only been on for about 3 weeks. From what we understand someone pulled out in front of our customer's wife.

Apparently the other car was totaled, but everyone was OK.

Airbag did deploy.

The bumper behaved just how we wanted it to behave in a collision.

We're hoping to get it back for more analysis...

Things to Note: Fairlead plate and winch were not in...

Now you can say your bumpers have been air bag tested!

Re: Expedition One Customer Accidental Front Bumper Crash

Obvious example of superior craftsmanship

Can't WAIT to be able to order a rear bumper to protect my 9 month old.

Re: Expedition One Customer Accidental Front Bumper Crash

I never thought to use my bumper in a coalition. How many others are using this bumper at the same time?

Re: Expedition One Customer Accidental Front Bumper Crash

This post really makes me feel secure in knowing that my family and I are safer with your bumper on board! I'm sorry for the bloke that the FJ belongs to but it's a good thing the EO Bumper was on cause if it were the "stock" crap your bumper replaced... would have been much worse.

Re: Expedition One Customer Accidental Front Bumper Crash

hehe nice catch on spelling.

Looks like it held up great. If you get it back, let us know how much it moved (vs your jig.)

Re: Expedition One Customer Accidental Front Bumper Crash

That had to be one helluva hit to compress the bumper like that. I'd like to see the other car.

Re: Expedition One Customer Accidental Front Bumper Crash

Glad to see the bumper held up so well.....it makes me feel better that when I take out one of these deer in the Wasatch Back I should be okay.
