Clearly in Australia they have far more concerns about sleeping on the ground than we do here...I can say this as I was born on a sheep farm in the outback - land based crawlers are everywhere and given that Australia has the highest amount of poisonous snakes, spiders and other assorted things you don't want anywhere near you I can see how this setup is favourable. I'm not sure how easy it is to shelter from the wind & cold (one of our concerns up here).

Hope ARB/Kaymar will make a rear bumper for the FJC similar to the one in the photo above.

We are seeing more interest in these here in the USA and with the Trailer comination it seems to work out well. This is mine. I will be switching to the new ARB Tent in the near future.

Thanks. That's what I was hoping for: a rear bumper with swing out tire carrier.

Back on topic: I assume the tent will fit on the full-size ARB roof rack.

It will indeed. It will also fit on a Trailer similar to my setup.

We are ready to start marketing them. The base Trailer will be $1595 and then you start your own customization. Basically these will all be custom. You can add and delete whatever you want. You pick your tires and wheels, boxes racks gas can holders & cans water cans, coolers, trailer brakes, tent (if you want one) or a cargo rack. Just so you have some comparison Mine comes in at $4600 fully equipt. This may seem like a lot but if you start comparing the other ones that are out there you will find it is a great deal.
