I got this in a Email from a after market local race shop shop:

NOTE: If installed by a Toyota dealership, this kit will carry the balance of your 5 Year / 60,000 mile warranty or a 1 Year / Unlimited Mileage warranty, whichever is greater. If installed by another shop or you install it yourself, it carries a 1 Year / Unlimited Mileage warranty, which is good at any Toyota dealership in the United States. Either way, the unit will not void your warranty if it is properly installed, and not modified.

Is this true?

That has been the warranty with all TRD Superchargers...it should be the same for this one as well.

Do you know if it will be covered by the extended warranty (6/100) if you have it installed by the dealer or just the base 5/60?

If dealer installed, it will retain the 5/60 warranty.

Until I actually have both the S/C and snorkel in hand, I couldn't tell you for sure. Off the top of my head though, I really can't see why you wouldn't be able to. I ran a snorkel on my supercharged 3.4L Tacoma with no problems whatsoever.

So who makes an Intercooler for this or the FJ? My understanding with roots chargers are that they can run pretty warm...any thoughts TZilla?

So even though I bought the Toyota 6/100 platinum extended warranty, this part will only be covered up to 5/60 of that warranty since it wasn't on at the time of purchase?
