Thumbs up Re: TRD SUPERCHARGERS...come and get em!!!!!

UPDATE>>>>>Unit has shipped....Thanks Shannon for the tracking number, the Supercharger will be installed next Friday from a local dealer in my area by a tech that has installed one on a Tacoma. The only downside is that I will have to remove my TRD CAI before they will do the install.....I will post pics by Saturday for everyone to see the finished installation. I know this will help my 5000 pound tank move down the road. I will give my report then.......

Re: TRD SUPERCHARGERS...come and get em!!!!!

why is the dealer making you remove your CAI?
the SC will work with it well, and if there are any tweaks or angles that need to be adjusted as a part of the installation, the dealer should do it to make sure everything fits well...

All Toyota documentation that I have states that it will only work with the stock intake. The dealer is going by the installation instructions and it also says NOTE: Supercharger has been calibrated for optimum performance with the stock intake, consequently the supercharger is not compatible with the TRD Performance Air Intake or any other intake system. I am sure it is a Warranty issue.
