Re: Sweet FJ

No idea but they should paint the front lip of their roof black.

Re: Sweet FJ

just another California conversion. Probably not anyone on this forum...or anyone that is too into the FJ for what the FJ is. Just someone who had a lot of money to spend on a convertible that they can say no one else really has (minus a handfull I have seen.)

I think the shop is in California that does these. Probably others as well.

Too bad they couldn't find a way to make that a removable hardtop.

Re: Sweet FJ

Don't like, but if you are going to own a coveritible it is a shame to drive it with the roof up. I own 3 converitibles, 1 is on the road, the other 2 are in different phases of restoration. It has to be mighty cold or raining hard for me to drive with the roof up. Haven't seen a pic yet of one of these fj's with the top down. It might look pretty cool with the top down. One will probably never know though, like some one else said too much money & a Hollywood personality.

Hideous. My apologies and prayers offered for this poor FJ.

That's what I was thinking too, BC_Indiana. I just thought it was unique, It's the first one I've ever seen. It wouldn't work for me for the amount of driving/wheeling that I do... -KID

Re: Sweet FJ

I can appreciate the novelty of the convertible top FJ, however my heart sinks seeing the roof get whacked off that poor unsuspecting sandstorm.
