Thoughts on a Florida sub-forum?

Or possibly a non-club kinda club? Gatorland Cruisers or something similar? I think we have the numbers to justify it, but wondered if anyone else saw any advantages to it.

No Flames!! It's just a suggestion!

Re: Thoughts on a Florida sub-forum?

I have noticed that the Floridians do post an awful lot. It would get our bantering into a more controlled area, but we do always have Paul's thing.

Re: Thoughts on a Florida sub-forum?

Yes, and I am not trying to take away from the Tampa4X4 forum either. I was just noticing how many FL FJ'ers there here on the FJCruisersForum are and wondered if anyone thought we should request this.

I would like to get a club going, but can we leave the Gators out of it?

I have been trying to make one for a while now. What I really need is some time to sit down and just do it. But I also need to know a name.

Re: Thoughts on a Florida sub-forum?

Florida state nicknames according to Wikipedia:
Peninsula State - boring
Hurricane State - taken
Tropical State - possible?
Everglades State - more southern part of state
Citrus State - This could work too
Flower State - uhmmm, NO!
Manatee State - hmmm, fat slow moving mammals? NOT!
Orange State - possible but lots of other places use this name
Sunshine State - another possibility, especially for those of us who picked "the cool looking color"
