Re: Furl, Digg, etc (new little icons)

ok I figured this out. So these are "social bookmark" sites.....

if you wanted to view all of my interests, you'd go to my del.icio.us page and see all of my bookmarks that I've added via the site.

Kind of an interesting concept. Not sure if it'll catch on with me or I'll just forget about it...

for digg....

Digg is all about user powered content. Every article on digg is submitted and voted on by the digg community. Share, discover, bookmark, and promote the news that's important to you!

Furl....

Furl saves a personal copy of any page on the Web and lets you to find it again instantly, from any computer. Share the sites you find, and discover useful new sites. Become a member to start building your Personal Web.

..and Technorati looks to be for bloggers who want to add links to their blog...

Re: Furl, Digg, etc (new little icons)

Those funky little icons have something to do with linking your specific post on a specific thread to another thread on another website. That is about as much as I can glean, other that that you are on your own.
