There are some threads that when I read them they have the little red X whre the pics is supposed to be. I'll come back to the thread in a a little while and the pics are there.

Internet Explorer displays an X when it cannot display the images. It usually cant get the images when a free web host is being used to host the images remotely or for other external reasons.
You can adjust this setting by going to Tools Menu / Internet Options / Advanced /
Scroll down about halfway through the advanced options.

JLam, it isn't a particular thread. I think I figured it out. The difference is between work and home. Everything works fine at home, but at work our firewall must block them if they are linked outside of the forum.

What is this "Internet Explorer" you speak of?

Firefox used to stink, but now it really is the best. Runs faster and cleaner than IE + the Google added taskbar does not contain spyware like IE.
