Thread Disappeared...regarding Ebay sale of TRD FJ

Yesterday, someone started a thread about a tooo good to be true Ebay auction on a TRD FJ Cruiser. The auction had all the signs of a scam. We pointed out problems with the auction and I also unearthed a PhotoBucket album with a other "vehicles for sale" using the same unorthdox method.

I reported the the aution to Ebay and it seems to have disappeared but I was able to find a repost of the FJ for sale again.

My question is....why did yesterday's thread mysteriously disappear?? Is there a forum policy I am not aware of?

NEVER MIND....the thread was in OFF-TOPIC which appears to be unsearchable on this forum. Also, it was not in my post history. I guess off-topic is OFF-LIMITS??
