Question Looking for supporting vendor info and forum rules

I recently had a thread removed by an administrator because I am not already a supporting vendor and was not aware that as a "normal forum user and contributor" I can't mention a price for something I was considering selling on this site.

I was PM'd by an administrator that I had a “vendor violation”, and I returned the following PM:

I have removed your thread as it does violate our vendor rules. We do not allow feeler posts and pricing has been mentioned.

If you are interested in becoming a supporting vendor, let me know!

Sorry, I was not aware of the policy. Where would I go for the supporting vendor information?

Thanks
...............................................

I know that administrators also have an off-forum life and may not be immediately able to return with an answer.

I've been searching and trying to find where these rules are actually posted on the forum and am not having any luck as of yet. In this searching, I have seen plenty of posts where people have joked about getting banned for asking about the rules. If I were to get banned for asking about the rules, then that’s fine. I would no longer want any part of this forum if that was the case.

I don't want to break or stretch any more forum rules, so can someone please post me the links to:
1. How to become a supporting vendor.
2. The published forum rules that states that I can't mention a price if I’m am not yet a supporting vendor.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

They are there... I went through the same thing you are.

But... I searched for them and couldn't find them. I was shown them when my thread(s) were deleted.

If you want to become a supporting vendor, ekool is the man to talk to.

Re: Looking for supporting vendor info and forum rules

So do you think that those are the total sum of written rules for this forum?
