Roll-over ads

As a confirmed capitalist I respect the forum owners' right to make money off their traffic any way they can. But as a small part of said traffic I wanted to point out that the roll-over ads are an abomination, especially the ones that now pop-up with video and audio.

Re: Roll-over ads

I agree they drive me nuts. I thought I dl'd a adware or something at first. I usually go elsewhere where they don't use them, if I can.

You can disable them if you care to do so.

I dont have permission to access that page. I'm not worthy of disabling the pop ups.

Re: Roll-over ads

Go to your OWN "edit profile" section, scroll
down to the second section that says
"additional information", and it's the first option...

Re: Roll-over ads

Roll over ads suck...I hate sites that have the green underlined text that popup the videos...its nearly impossible not to hit one of those underlined texts...I also hate news web pages that that make the first click in any part of the page a pop up advert...

Hey thanks for the tip. Major props to the admins for allowing those to be disabled. Although I do have to wonder who in the world would want them enabled .
