Lame Help/FAQ

Amazing how little real info there is in the quick links or FAQ section for those of us that aren't computer geeks. Trying to delete a dumb post (mine) and can't manage it. Button says edit/delete post but can't find how to delete it

Just select the edit button, delete all text and replace with Deleted.

Re: Lame Help/FAQ

Or, if you suck up to a moderator a little bit, you can have him completely delete it for you.

Re: Lame Help/FAQ

Again, if you'd like to completely wipe out a post, drop a PM to one of the moderators and we'll be happy to remove it. (Just direct us there with a link.)

What Steve is diplomatically saying is that only mods and administrators can "delete" a post. You can edit, but you can't delete.
