I just posted a new thread in the Tools sub-forum and didn't see it show up in the Active Topics. Isn't it supposed to? If not, it's pretty much worthless for posting and generating lively discussion...

I'm bumping this because I received no answer to my original post. The Tools sub-forum is worthless if it does not appear in the Active Topics list. I really do think that it could be come an active area of discussion and see many threads (like the recent Hi-Lift Banned in Austrailia thread )that would be ideal for a tools topic section.
No matter. If nobody else cares about this neither do I and so be it. However, if this isn't remedied, I have made my first and last post in the current Tools sub-forum and will make all future posts regarding tools topics in the Misc. Tech or General Discussion forums.
Mods - Why don't posts in the Tools sub-section appear in the Active Topics?

I agree with you. The tools section is hard to find if you dont allreay know where it is. I have been very busy lately and not have much time but I have a couple ideas for tool threads. I think making it it's own active topic section rather than a sub section would give it more traffic.

This thread is posted in the appropriate section and I would really like to have this reasonable question and request addressed by a moderator. Why don't posts in the Tools sub-forum appear in Active Topics and could this be remedied?

Sorry for the delay . . . . I just now stumbled across this thread.
I personally don't know the answer to this, however, I'm currently checking it out and I'll let you know when I get the word.
Thanks for your patience.
Thanks, Steve.
