Nah. The Mods don't carry grudges. We just get even.


As a lot of you will recall, our previous "Reputation Point" system became worthless when it turned into a competitive popularity contest, and dozens of threads and thousands of posts were created soley for the purpose of soliciting rep points.

Plus, it got too many members in trouble for doing everything they possibly could to attract attention to themselves by greatly exceeding the limits of decency and decorum . . . . all for the sake of picking up yet another rep point.

We quickly learned that the "Thanks" points would quickly turn into the very same thing . . . . and sure enough, it did within minutes of it being introduced. So, it's since been removed from the forum's new layout.

there is the "thanks" system on another forum i frequent, and it works pretty good. the amount of thanks there usually determine the old and the wise.
