W-h-y I-s Ttthhis Site So Ssllooww?!

Is it just me, or is there a problem with the site? I haven't been on in a while, but noticed that each page takes 30 seconds to load! The message on the bottom of my browser says "connecting to as.ext-4 dot com" for like 30 seconds. I would love to do a quick search, but there's no such thing.

Use Firefox and a good ad-blocker. With these two items, I have no issues with the site.

After DominicG told me to do this, I have found that this site works just fine....

Download Mozilla Firefox and the add-on "Ad Blocker Plus." The site is back to normal now. Don't use Internet Explorer anymore.

Exactly. I pretty much missed it because it takes 30-45 seconds/page to load. On a conservative estimate, searching for the answer would have taken 10 years. The only way I have been able to navigate the site is through disabling my javascript. I have alway used Firefox. I will try installing the ad blocker.

Re: W-h-y I-s Ttthhis Site So Ssllooww?!

It is only slow for me at work with Firefox, as I have not installed Ad Blocker Plus yet.
I see this trying to load in the bottom tray too.
as.ext-4 dot com

At home I run only Firefox and the Ad Blocker Plus, and the site loads very fast.

I have just not got around yet to installing the plug-in at work.
That is if I even can, might not have the privies to do that here.
