Re: for the love of GOD!!!! what is up with this server????

As a long time network administrator, I can tell ya that this is beyond slow, I mean it doesn't take a network admin to tell you that, lol. I am Mac running Firefox on my T3 connection and its take 90 to 120 seconds to load this site, I checked other sites and it was fast, what's up guys, Server load killing ya :/

I switched to FoxFire this week just for this site... and it is still so damn slow that I'm close to bailing on FJs and getting a Hummer. Seriously, this site has been painfully slow for a while.
You also need a plugin for FireFox...it's called Ad Blocker Plus. Once this is installed, the site will scream along just fine.

Re: for the love of GOD!!!! what is up with this server????

I heard that the site will load much faster if you buy a Fitch fuel catalyst thingy. The question is, where do you put it?

Re: for the love of GOD!!!! what is up with this server????

I feel your frustration. I'm coming here less and less now just b/c of it.

Oh well....admin wants us to fix it on our end. I'm not willing to change to firefox. So be it.

Sean

Well, it has been suggested taping it to the power cord. It's supposed to line up all the electrons for optimum orientation thereby urging them to speed up. It's works best on stale electrons. I suggested the widget to my father in law and he told me exactly where I should put it, but I his comment can't be repeated here for obvious reasons.
