Well when I was searching for my second dealership I got this email...
Hello Jessalyn.
My name is Merick Sherline, Internet/Fleet Manager with Superstition Springs Toyota/Scion. Thank you for your request on the most "in demand" vehicle in the country.....The FJ Cruiser.
Most of these vehicles are pre-sold before they even hit the lot, but I have a couple coming in that might be available. Let me know exactly what packaging you are looking for and I can let you know if I have anything coming in that fits your needs
Several dealers in the valley are asking for insane premiums on the FJ. Some as high as $10000.00, but that is not the case here at SS Toyota. We are selling ours for MSRP and that includes one year of complimentary oil changes. We also have the lowest tax rate and documentation fees in the valley.
Once you contact me, if I have something that you are interested in you can reserve an incoming unit with a "fully refundable" deposit of $1000.00
Please contact me and let me know how you wish to proceed.
Respectfully,
Merick Sherline
HMMMM Now the question is will he stay to his word while we are doing the paperwork or will I have to pull this out of my pocket!!! Hes been doing really good, and hes been honest so I have found...so maybe!!

I could be wrong, as I often am, but these deals usually have strings attached. We got this deal when we bought our 2002 Tundra in Oregon and took it in once. The only way to keep getting the free oil changes was to bring it into them at each of the designated service periods and have them do all the work. It wasn't worth it either $$ or time to do it.
You can evaluate it and decide for yourself.

Hmmm Im up for changing my own oil, would be happy to do it anyhow!! But either or, maybe they offer it and instead I take the amount of money off the total....we will see i guess...

Girl would you please just get your FJ It is starting to get painful knowing how long you have waited only to have time and time again the one you wanted get sold from under you. I though yours had finally come in? Did something happen again that you lost it?
As for the oil changes..I agree.. not worth it. They will most likely tie those oil changes in with a manditory matainance schedule that will wind up costing you money when you come in for them. And the only way they can help with taxes is if you go through Fleet.
