Door Ajar Nagging

The other day I was wiping the FJ down and listening to the radio...All would have been well if not for that annoying door ajar sound...How can I make this go away?

does it come from the back that sounds like styrofoam pieces rubbing? It was not the door in my case. It was the rear seat bench...I lifted and slamm it real hard back down again and its gone...If it comes from somewhere else I dont know how to help you....

Re: Door Ajar Nagging

I think this is the problem.

1. Insert Key
2. Turn Key to On or Acc
3. Turn on Radio
4. Open Door while radio is on
5. Begin to clean under driver seat
6. Get annoyed at beeping sound car is making cause key is in ignition and door is open

Sorry I can't help with a fix to turn that feature off.
