FJ meets first season snow

We have had an early season storm in Colorado and this is what a high country bow hunt turned into. The FJ performed flawlessly! When we got up in the morning there was a foot of new snow and we were pulling a trailer with the 4 wheeler out. I was a bit concerned due to the fact that the evening before we had a very wet snow/rain mix that froze on the ground then the new snow on top of that. I had always heard that the BFG AT's were not that good in snow....coming out I had the FJ in 4L and it never missed a beat. It was a good mile to the "road" and then 18 miles to come down out of the snow and off the mountain.[IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

Thanks for the picture, we haven't had snow yet in New Jersey (aahhh) how was the heater considering the large cooling system. Take a while to get heat?

Burrrrrrh. Too cold for me. 83 degrees here today, just a few degrees cooler than normal average.

It should be our turn next for the ''White Stuff'' as we always get early snow in the season - just outside Calgary by Banff this past week they recieved about 8'' already - your pic is great!!

Thanks for the comments.....had to call it quits on the hunt, it snowed enough that I could not get the 4 wheeler back into the area where I normally go. It is a 7 mile 4 wheeler ride then a couple miles on the leather to gewt to a good area.

90 degrees in Redding. Redding is unusually hot considering how northern it is. It isn't unusual for it reach up to 117 degrees during the summer.

Ironically, during the winter, we get up to 16" of snow just once or twice a year. Weird, isn't it
