Pre-damage Solution for chipped windshields.
Lots of people are talking about chipped and broken whindshield. I've been thinking of a product that might protect it from rocks bugs etc.

Man they're making them for race cars. They cost $32 to $80. so if we get them and put on the maximum 12 layers you spent about what a new windshield cost. It also appears that they may not last too long.

An interesting possibility. It does state that they are illegal for street use, so I don't know when I'd use them. Maybe if I'm wheeling in a big group they would prevent rock damage.
