Good dealers to use.....so far.

Since no one has taken delivery yet, what dealers have been good to deal with up to this point. Please keep the posts positive, if you have dealer problems there should be 50 other areas to post that info. The idea is to show which dealers know the FJ is made by Toyota and not Bugatti.

My dealer so far has been good on not sticking on the options, and done a good job of keeping me posted although an hourly update would be better

Geoffrey Miller
Toyota of Rancho Santa Margarita

So far he has been tremendous. Even answers most of my obsessive emails. I would highly recommend him.

I would have to say that Acton Toyota in Mass. has been good thus far. My salesman, Ken Hsu, has been very responsive to my frequent emails.
SO FAR, SO GOOD!!!

Randy Peralez
Toyota of Kirkland

Was quick with finding out the answers and getting back to me.

The only thing is they are selling them at MSRP plus $499 for their VIP package.

Savage Toyota in Hamburg, PA.

They laughed when I mentioned "market value", and said they always sell vehicles for MSRP or less. They didn't know a whole lot about the FJ right off the bat, but they kept me updated. I was also first on the list with no deposit, until I declined on the voodoo blue AT I was told they are getting.

Seems like a good group of salesman.....but don't they all? =)

Re: Good dealers to use.....so far.

Oh yeah ahhem I forgot to mention Kerney Mesa Toyota in San Diego. MSRP is the standard but with new customers they are requiring you buy a Lo Jack at the $695 price, although they didn't force that on the early folks on the list. FYI the dealer buzz/rumors that are going around in California is 2-3K over MSRP so I'm glad they are somewhat sticking to the MSRP.

Don't buy an FJ from any bald people in Atlanta, they are all the spawn of satan! Evil I say! Evil! Like fruits of the devil! Evil!

Rob Smithburg at Elmhurst Toyota in Elmhurst, IL (Chicago area). They were very quick to get back to me, and they got me exactly what I was looking for (except that it has running boards and UP#2 rather than UP#1). Delivery date is beginning of April.

Re: Good dealers to use.....so far.

John Schmitz at Beaman Toyota in Nashville. MSRP, huge allotment, no hassles. $500 refundale deposit.

My FJ is on the boat (I even know the name and ID number of the boat) and will be delivered between March 27 and April 10. Within the next week or so, we will fine-tune the specific date range down to a 5-day window. I'm getting exactly what I asked for in exactly the time frame it was promised for exactly the price we agreed on in advance.
