Allocation Determination
Hi all,
Okay...so I locked in my rate, got the funds and am supposedly on "the list." But there is an air of uncertainty (anxiety/obsession) clouding my visions of my future FJ...I know what I want and will even settle for some of the add-ons (supposedly getting msrp...dealer is a friend of the family's, blah blah blah)...anyhow, he's not even sure when they are coming in or how many etc...so my question is this: how are allocations determined for each dealer? I've heard things like "we're gonna get one for every five Priussusses we sell," or "a great selection"...but how many and to whom? Reason I ask is I would like to walk into a dealership upon launch, point to the one I want and write the check (and drive over my srt4 trade-in on the way out)...which begs the question, which dealer will have more of a selection and why (or how to determine this beforehand)...any info would be greatly appreciated...thanks
