Used Horn for 1st time.
Yesterday, I used the horn for the first time to keep a semi from weaving into my lane. When I heard it, I thought maybe my FJ had swallowed a VW bug or something. Good Lord, my '86 Chevy Spectrum sounded more manly! (I never thought I would say that!) I know NOW, that this has been covered in detail, but I thought it was funny anyway.

Re: Used Horn for 1st time.
Didn't you just want to duck down under the dash after you did that?
The best part is that I am ALWAYS accidently hitting it with my arm across it one way or the other.
meep meep!

I second that....on the GWNF run I was hitting my horn left and right going through the mud holes...and never meaning to.....

Re: Used Horn for 1st time.
The only time I use my horn is when I'm about to hit the bottom of ledge and inadvertently bang it with my forearm. The FJ is telling me to take it easy when I do that.
The horn is pittifull.

Re: Used Horn for 1st time.
After everything said about the horn, I was expecting it to be pretty wussy. But I have to say it's actually manlier than the horn I had in the '95 4Runner.

Re: Used Horn for 1st time.
just do the bigbill mod and add the second tone horn...problem solved (it's even pre-wired for it)
