NY: ordered Fj

Hey I ordered my FJ cruiser last week. They allocated it and said it will take
4-6 weeks to get. Is this normal?
Also they gave me $1000.00 off sticker.
Opinions please..

I am dealing with Neil Toyota over in Lynbrook Long Island.

Try 3-4 months.I have been waiting 3 months and still nothing!

I don't know what normal is in NY, but I only waited 2 weeks for mine. I lucked out when I ordered my 6MT as they hadn't gotten their monthly allocation yet from Toyo corporate. Well, a few hours and a phone call later (from the sales mgr) and they had 1 new FJ already sold b4 hitting the dealership.

I was quoted 4-5 months for my order and that was only 2wks ago. I think it's been said here, but I can't remember where, that east coast availability is higher.

I didn't wait. While getting my oil changed I test drove an FJ, bought it the next day.

Lots of available FJ's at the dealers already. Me? I was very specific in my needs. Diamond Black, roof rack, and pkg2. It took some shopping around, but I got what I wanted within a couple of days, and even got a free skid plate and rock sliders because they couldn't be bothered to remove them.
I wanted it somewhat quickly... and got it that way.

Not a bad price I'd say. They are taking $1,500 off sticker here in the St.Louis area and including a free 100,000 mile extended for free. You did ok.

Oh I for got to add.. congratulations on your new FJ. Its on hell of a vehicle.

I just got my Titanium FJ last weekend at Atlantic Toyota in Amityville. Dropped it off today to get rock rails installed. I saw at least three in the lot. You may want to try calling them. They might have what you are looking for. Ask for David Moon. He treated me well and he gave me more than I asked for.
I only had to wait one week to get the one I wanted. He told me the average wait was about two to three weeks. I guess I lucked out.
