- Pay It Forward Thread -

In honor of the season, I wanted to start a Pay It Forward thread.

In case you don't know, they work like this:
Someone posts up an item for free(I'll start) and if someone needs that item, they claim it and post an item of their own for free.

Here are the general rules of a Pay It Forward thread:

** please post up in the thread when you want something so everyone knows whats going on

** please try and post something up if you take something

** don't take more than one item unless you can offer up more than one item

** please follow up and edit your post when the item is claimed

** don't offer up something if you are not going to follow through and ship it

** if you do not want to foot the entire bill for shipping please say so upfront

I'll start with an Aluminum Hawse fairlead. If someone wants it, just pay $5 shipping and I'll cover the rest

It looks like the one pictured, except mine is engraved with "Offroad" or something along those lines. I can get a picture of the actual fairlead in the morning and I think I have the hardware too.





I'll try to find some more stuff I have laying around too

I'll pay for shipping, too. It's not much, but I know TC went out of his way to get them made, and they are only-a-few, and SWEET.

ok, I have a set of 2011 AT OEM gear shifter knobs, for a 4x4, I replaced them with Joel's super cool Billet shifters....in Blue of course....
Free shipping / worldwide.
Can take a coupla photo's if needed.

I just want to report on a really cool "pay it forward"
I have a picture of bulkhead waterproof electrical plug, that would be used, on my truck. The picture shows the price of $97.xx on the package that you can see in the pic.

Pumbaa gave me feedback, telling me he thought this was a really good option for my mod. Then he offered me a link that w. as 1/2 of the price. I was replying to him , thanking him for the link.

Meanwhile OK FJ, replied that the painless stuff was expensive and how he paid $32.00 for the same thing, but never used it. He said if I needed another one, to let him know and he would send it over. I offered to pay him + shipping. He asked for my shipping address and said it was considered a early Christmas present.. Then he said I could pay it forward to someone else. it went from 97 + tax. to zero in 2 posts.

I hope , one day we meet at an event so I can buy a few rounds.
