Winch for ARB bumper?

Which winch will best fit an ARB bumper on my 2007 FJ?

I just got my FJ and it has an ARB bumper guard on it. There was a winch mounted but it has been removed by first owner.

Basically I just want a lite winch, 6,000 to 8,000 lbs.
With a snatch block, it should do all I need.

Looking at Warn m8000 or Smittybilt xcr 8000

Any suggestions??
Thanks

Re: Winch for ARB bumper?

You need at least a 8k. If you've got the money get the Warn if not get the smitty.

Re: Winch for ARB bumper?

If you want a light winch, buy one with synthetic rope. You will save ~30lbs or so vs steel rope.

Duncan is a great guy to deal with. Great value, all things considered.
He'd be able to tell you how to co figure the solenoid, since it can be winch, or remote mounted.
