I do wish the front seat would slide foward when tilted toward the front. It really open up the space to access the back in my old toy pick up.
Yup. I take my son to day care every morning which means readjusting that seat at least twice a day

Re: Fj's and infants don't mix...

Had zero problems with an older style 4runner with car seats, infant or otherwise. I've found the height of the 4runner makes it much easier than in our civic, my wife finds it easier in the civic. Personally I'm not sold on the design of the new 4runner, but I really like the design of the older models (oops, sorry, wrong forum)

Amen. Love our 2005 Odyssey. If only it could make it up some rough roads.

So - will get a third car.

Any trip on pavement - only Odyssey. Fortunately my wife does not have nothing to compensate for.

I did consider GMC Savana with just this sort of a hack in mind. Then I decided that is an overkill - so will be shopping for an FJ.

Re: Fj's and infants don't mix...

have you considered the roofrack?

or maybe a new wife?

hehe just kidding, you just need a system. If you really want the FJ the baby will be fine. You just have to be the one to figure out how to get him/her in and out.

He/she will be outta the carrier in no time
