If they mention exoskelton I assume something has got to be different outside of skid plates. But who knows.

My bet is the extra frame bracing and Exo is nothing more than the sliders. To the bozo motor journalist they see 4 bars bolted to the frame and think frame bracing. Then the see the slider tube and think it's outside the body work so it must be an exoskeleton. My .02

Until we see anything different, I think that's the best explanation for the wording too.

so with the 1.3 inch lift it cleared 285's, nice im thinking about a set of 5100's with 1.7 inch in the front and was not sure if i could run 285's.

Most 285s clear fine at stock ride height with stock wheels.
