It's on mine too. I wonder if they listed all VINs to make sure everyone knows. I'm second owner so I can't be sure if I have them or not.

Re: recall on my car
I was just going to mention that they probably just notified all owners so if any add the TRD brakes and wheels they will know there is a problem. I read somewhere else that if the wheel weights aren't put on the very inside edge or center of the wheel that the weights will hit a brake line which could knock the weight off, knock the brake line loose or break the brake line, or both. The wheels they are talking about are the silver, charcoal, and black TRD wheels like the Original TRD and the Trail Teams came with or the silver ones that came with the off road wheel/tire option.

Ok yeah cause I have the black TRD on my 08 TT. So they listed VINs with those wheels. Makes sense I guess. But I'm pretty sure I would have noticed the red brakes if I had them! Ha

Re: recall on my car
Unless someone repainted them or Toyota changed them I think the TRD big brakes are red like the picture. I don't know 100% though. If they are red, you shouldn't be able to miss them, especially if you have the black wheels as they would contrast and show up really good.
I have a 2007 FJ Cruiser TRD Edition and the dealer told me that my FJ didn't have the TRD High Performance Brake Kit. It's been awhile since I bought my truck so I don't remember if it came with it, does anyone else here have the same 2007 FJ Cruiser TRD Edition? Please let me know if yours came with it. Thanks!

Re: recall on my car
They are aftermarket and unless the dealer added them or the FJ was purchased used and they were added, the FJ didn't come with them stock.
They are sending out letters or letting people know about it when they sign in as there is no way to track who bought them and installed them after they bought their FJ. I just got a letter today.
The problem from what I've read is that the clearance between the TRD wheels and the caliper is already extremely tight and with the bigger calipers it's worse. There is a cross over brake line on the caliper. The wheel weights when the wheels are balanced need to go towards the center or spokes of the inside of the wheel. If they are towards the outer edge they can make contact with that brake line and knock the weights off, break the brake line, or both.
There are a few threads just about the recall on here too.
