A question on production number?

Okay, I have a question. I know we have discussed this too death almost but I wanted to revive this so called dead horse and ask the question:

How many FJs were produced and sold in 2006?

Did Toyota cap production?

What percentage did not get shipped to the States?

Thoughts, inside knowledge, or just let me have it

except for what toyota kept at the factory, they were all supposed to be sold in the US and canada only.

This one is definitely still up in the air....we do know for a fact that they have exceeded the expected initial 46,000 or whatever number they had decided on....(that was always still a little vague).....but the big question is when the 2008's are rolling out.....

It would be best for the current owners if the 08s didn't start rolling off until August/September....then we could be owners for 1+ years, and not be but 1 Model Year behind....

I'm anxious to see what comes out of it, but who knows.....it's all a waiting game at this point
