Die Cast Gift for TRD SE

If this topic has been addressed already, than my apologies. I called to check up on any avalable Die Cast Model FJ for the TRD SE I purchased last Friday. I was told that all the Die Cast Models were two tone painted and that I would be given another gift. The representative I spoke with said they(it seemed as "They" mean Toyota) were not sure what that gift would be. I did not press. Anyone have any info or ideas? I guess I should just be patient and wait and see, but I am so damn nosy....

Warning: Thread Hijack

What's the deal with giving the TRD guys a hard time - just another FJ in the herd. It seems like the group is almost turning on itself; this is one of the reasons the IH8MUD site is not nearly as good as this one (too much "it's not a real Land Cruiser" BS).

Let's see if I can outline the hierarchy based on the fact that buying anything but off-road capability is bad … and that paying too much is obviously bad as well:
  • FJ - All other packages
  • FJ – Upgrade Package 2 / Convenience Package
  • FJ - TRD Package
  • FJ - 2WD
  • Off-road rigs that are not an FJ
  • People who don't drive rigs capable of wheeling

It’s a great truck; it’s a great forum … this type of thread and others like it will turn people away.

Beside, we all know that the hierarchy should be based on color … Silver being at the top of course

Get a "reg." black FJ 1/18 toy and paint the roof black. Take the Jacket. Pass on the hat. Try Oatmeal for breakfast. I am here to help. Welcome to the info fun FJ Forum.

I'd say get the Black FJ Mini and paint the roof
and rims and such... you can just have a Auto
body shop make up a small batch for ya and
use an air-brush...

That's what I would do - its fun to do little projects

I am contemplating building and painting a large B17 or B29 model over christmas break. Be good for my office.
