"Can I drive your FJ?"

How many of us get this question? Many of my co-workers eventually get around to asking about my FJ. Some of them want to give it a test drive. If I trust them I just hand them the key. No one as yet has went out and bought their own. Usually its' because they have a family and don't think the FJ would make a good family auto. But I can tell by the look on their face that they enjoyed the ride.

Re: "Can I drive your FJ?"

Typically I say the FJ is just insured for the misses and I, and that would refer to a NO...

Never been asked. People who know me know how OCD I am about my vehicles.

Re: "Can I drive your FJ?"

It took me years before I answered my wife "yes" to that question.

Re: "Can I drive your FJ?"

My friends ask all the time....I let one of them drive it. I don't have a whole lot of trust in my friends.

Re: "Can I drive your FJ?"

I was super privileged on Saturday past. I went to Austin for a get together and got to drive 3 other FJ's besides my own.
I'm trying to decide what lift I want to do on mine ( think it will be Kings though), so each of the FJs I tried had a different lift, it was awesome to feel the difference between the 3. I thank the owners for trusting me.

Re: "Can I drive your FJ?"

How about no? Does no work for you? I'm gonna go with no.

Only one other person gets to drive the FJ besides the wife and I, and thats my mechanic friend that I have known forever.
