Good one Dragon. It looks to be Norman Rockwell quality. All the snow was east of here, didn't get one flake, but eastern Kansas was dumped on.

Re: Official "MY FJ IN THE SNOW THREAD"

My FJ handles very well. Still experimenting 2wd with vsc or 4hi without. So far I like 2wd with VSC on packed, or patchy roads, and 4wd on the side streets. It blows my late model Grand Cherokee out of the water.

Same here.
WA. state just had earlier this week a snow and ice storm.
Wish I had taken pictures, but I did not.

Ours was mainly ice from the packed down snow and temps under 20.
I found that in 2WD it handled better on the ice with the VSC helping me from sliding around that it did in 4 high with the auto tranny.

No doubt 4 high would be better in deeper fluffy snow, but for ice I felt more under control out of 4WD.

I would purposly gun it going arund a corner to slide, but the VSC kicked in with the icon and alarm, and straightened me out.
