Just checked with dealer and the '14's have been released

We live in MD. I called my dealer today and he indicated that the '14's have been loaded into the system. He said that the inventory was the filling up in the West and Midwest first- none showing for our area yet.

He had the colors, but not for the TT, pricing and package content were not available.

I asked them for a price for a TT as soon as it was available, and he indicated that he would work with me on the pricing.

Has anyone got any price structure commitments on the TT such as " invoice plus $500"?
I want to get one on order ASAP for the right price!
I plan to sell my 2 LC's and buy the TT....gm

Re: Just checked with dealer and the '14's have been released

Brochure says 2014, but all the photos say 2013 in the fine print.

TT photo on the cover almost looks Army Green/Cement, or that could be the green tree shadows.

Photo says 2013 TTSE which makes it Cement. However, I agree. That color the way represented, looks pretty sweet!

You're never going to get a great deal on a vehicle that you order and have to wait on it to get on the boat and cross the ocean. If the dealer has 10 FJ's on the lot and you're not sure which color/option package you want, you might be able to get a good deal. Ever buy a Camry? They make a million of them a year. But if you're particular about what you want though, they have no incentive to bargain on it. Especially with a vehicle that they'll be stuck with once it gets there if you back out.

My advice: shop between dealers for the TT, pre-negotiate a realistic price, put down your deposit then forget about it. In the big scheme of things, an extra $20-30/month (or, $1-2K on the purchase price) is nothing considering that the FJ is the #1 resale value vehicle country and the '14 is the last year.
