Loving my FJ

Picked mine up last night from Mcgeorge Toyota in Richmond VA.
This dealer was honest and kept their word.
$29,129 MSRP no addendum. Screw that other dealer that was charging a $3000 markup. Thank you Beth at Mcgeorge. Wahoooooooooooo

Re: Loving my FJ

What's amazing to me is just how much of a head-turner this truck is. People really pay attention. Just on the way home from the dealer, I had people doing double-takes, slowing down and speeding up to get a better look, and really checking out the vehicle. It's interesting the types of people who seem the most interested: (a) college-age kids and, to even a greater extent, younger kids; (b) cops; (c) truck drivers; and (d) "mid-life crisis guys" (for lack of a better term). Sounds like Toyota hit their target demographic pretty well, but the truck gets a lot of interest from people who are relatively serious about driving (such as cops and truckers).

That hurts. Oldawg and I need to talk to you about this. We prefer the term "Silver Steeds." Much more manly and fitting of our image.

I got the upgrade #1 package. Which I think is like #2 w/o the subwoofer.
The only thing lacking is the rock rails and the roof rack. The dealer said that I cant order these yet, but they are available on the web at TRDsource.com

Would having a ticket to the Elvis show at Rupp Arena (he died a week before the show) put me into the old fart category?
