I made the visit to my dealer this afternoon to fill out the paperwork
for my new FJ so that I can drive it off the lot Monday when it comes in.
I did not want to sit in the dealership for two hours taking care of business when my new TOYota is sitting right outside the window beckoning to be driven.
While I was at the dealer I picked up the Spring07 Toyota magazine. Also picked up a copy of the product guide and University of Toyota product
presentation walkaround DVD for the FJ. The DVD host, Lynda Elkin, has an open invitation to ride in my FJ any time she wants. She is so hot in that sweater. After watching the DVD it is obvious why I am getting an FJ and not a Rubicon, Liberty, X-Terra or H3. The others might be decent vehicles, but they just don't stack up to the FJ.
I know that a lot of you have expressed concerns with blind spots, the swing rear door, and the suicide doors. If Toyota tried to design those issues out of the vehicle it would not be the vehicle we all crave. You either love the FJ or hate it. I for one look forward to Monday. I'll be driving this vehicle until my 10 year old son grows up and can convince me it is time to hand it down to him.
