compass *blink* compass *blink*
Stinkin' blinkin' word "compass" keeps blinkin' on the info display. Scanned the manuel to no avail, anybody know how to stop the incessant blinkin'?

Sound like it needs to be calibrated/initialized. Drive around in a circle until it stops.

You need to calibrate the compass... See page 185.

No, that's how you disable the day time running lights.

Mine did the same. See the manual page 185 and 186 Calibrating The Compass (deviation calibration) to make sure you're in the right zone, then see page 187 for Calibrating The Compass (circling calibration). Note in the middle of #3. it says "It flashes when circling calibration is not completed". That took care of it.

I just finished calibrating mine. Im in zone 10. Its funny cause the sales(wo)man was great, but had no idea how any of the features worked.
