I was just looking at that a couple minutes ago. IIRC it sold for about the same price about a week ago.

Re: Does this seem expensive?

These are being sold by a forum member to us for a hell of a lot less. Search for it if you are interested as I cannot remember his screen name. I think he is selling to us for $45 + ship.

The first one on Ebay went for $192.50! As with most other items, it is worth what someone will pay for it, or what the market will bear, so to speak. Or, better yet, how about a fool and his money are soon parted? LOL

Re: Does this seem expensive?

"brushed" aluminum?!?!?! More like roughed with steel wool! The FJ logo looks like it has pretty sharp edges and the edges aren't even chamfered! it's a chunk of 6061 plate that takes about 2 minutes (max) to cut out on a CNC Mill.

Joel, have you seen this? OMG!!!!

My thoughts exactly! I high speed CNC mill would have it done in 10 seconds.

Re: Does this seem expensive?

I think $60 or so is reasonable. It takes a bit of work to make the cover. I bought one and I had it powder coated red. I like the finished product.

If you like it, then send Chad an e-mail at dr.cool@adelphia.net and he will make you one.

Re: Does this seem expensive?

I bought one from a forum member. It's terrific and completely meets the need making the odd design of the console more practical. That said... I would not have paid $192.50!
