Symptoms of a chronic waver

Well, due to a resounding 10 for my last 10 in waves back, I am no longer forcing my hand up with that "They probably won't return the wave" grimace. So that's good. Now I find myself waving at FJ's that pass when I'm just walking down the street or in a friends car. Can't blame em for thinking I'm retarded.

Pulled in beside a Voodoo on the beltway a week or so ago. Got the womans attention and gave her a big thumbs up. She grinned like crazy. Then I moved off. Was driving the G35 Coupe. Bet she felt good about that. I enjoyed it.

Roll (Why was I in the Coupe? Maybe you missed the 50 posts I've scattered around about my wife haven taken control of our FJ)

Re: Symptoms of a chronic waver

In southeast Georgia, everybody waves at everybody (no matter what you're driving).

When you encounter a fellow FJC driver, that mandates pulling over and chatting for at least a half hour.

Gotta love small towns.

Re: Symptoms of a chronic waver

I live on the Jersey Shore, in Brick (same town as Bandi and Jcbuch), and I pass a LOT of FJs. There must be close to a dozen in this town alone, and in a 20 mile radius at least 4 Toyota dealerships - many FJs being sold in this area.

Anyway, I wave to every one I pass, and truthfully most wave back. As for those that don't, I don't think they're being standoffish, it seems that most just aren't paying attention. Keep waving - a little friendliness offsets some of the ever present road rage.

Re: Symptoms of a chronic waver

Three times I have passed a Tit Grey FJ on the way home from they gym...no wave...flash lights...nothing...why....?

Fat chick with an 'ass face'!

People who are commuting around here drive like assholes and you to must get out of their way, hence 'ass face'...a term my wife coined.

I've driven all over the US Nwest, Neast, Fla and even Buenos Aires (without seatbelts!!!!) so I can honestly say they SUCK at driving here, and unless you are on a small country road nobody will wave to you. Ass Face Abounds!

Rant over...you may now continue with your regularly scheduled conversation...
