Very quick easy question

Getting ready to wire in a trailer brake controller.

Need to know which wire (green or red) at the brake pedal is switched. One is hot, one is switched... which is which?

Ryan - I thought the tow hitch option from Toyota is a plug and go set up. Of course, it is only for a four pin connection. I am confused somewhat by your question so I have attached the tow hitch install instruction from TRDsource.com and a couple wiring pictures from the Electrical Manual. The stop lamp switch is activated when the brake pedal is depressed. Hope this helps.
